While on the trails and various lesser traveled areas this past summer, I came across remnants of buildings and structures. Testaments to man-kinds futility at taming nature. I got the idea to document the scenes with my camera. This summer I will go to a few of the places guarded securely with ‘No Trespassing’ signs for more examples of the inevitable truth of civilization. The truth that no matter how strong our drive to conquer that which exists around us, nature will always overcome our destructive habits and life will flourish in it’s own way. These pictures are some of the scenes I came across and I wish to document others I passed which struck a deeper chord with me.
I got inspired by some graffiti I saw sprayed up, and figured I’d play with the idea.

This blog is my attempt to expand the sinister dialectic. I’m not entirely sure how I’m going to go about doing that, but that’s part of the fun, isn’t it?
The goal, then, seems to be manifesting digital exoterica. As well as a means to help organize my thoughts on a great deal of things: try to put into words the almost indescribable connections, emotions and beauty that is so prevalent around us; encourage free individuals devoid of mundane restrictions; and promote my fellow asshole antagonists in the goal of chipping away at modern society.
